EXEMPT FROM .SERVILE (Reed. Sept. 11, 10.30 a.m.) PARIS, Sept. 9. A communique explaining the position of Italian residents says that according to the Franco-Italian Agreement they are exempt from military service and personal military demands, but remain subject, like French citizens, to requisitions concerning property, furniture and dwellings.
