BOOM IN BOOMERANGS
NEW YORK,. Aug. 20. A reporter recently discovered that the U.S. Secretary for Agriculture, Mr. Wallace regularly practices the throwing of a boomerang in- Washington Park in the early morning. Now, thousands of Americans are following his example. “Life” this week devotes three pages to' pictures of "Storky” Adams, the former Victorian athlete, demonstrating the correct method of throwing the boomerang.
* Sports dealers report a 50 per cent increase in sales, and forecast a boom.
