VISITORS' DILEMMA
SUPPLIES OF PETROL RESTRICTIONS IN ROTORUA Many visitors from other parts of the Dominion who had been visiting Rotorua for the school holidays were caused anxiety on Monday when the emergency restrictions which have been placed by the Government upon the- sale of petrol were announced. From early in the morning most of the garages and petrol service stations were besieged with inquiries from visitors who required their tanks tilled for the return journey to their own homes. In accordance with the instructions given petrol sellers rationing of supplies was in force at most stations from early in the morning and while most visitors were granted small supplies some anxiety was felt by them as to whether they should start their journeys owing to the fear that they might be refused further replenishment of their tanks in isolated parts of'the country.
