HEIRESS BRIDE’S SUICIDE

MARRIED FEW WEEKS NEW YORK, July 25. Mrs. Caroline Roebling Hagncr Walters, heiress to a large fortune, shot herself in her Reno home last night, and died in the arms of her husband, whom she married a few weeks ago. She got a divorce on May 6 from Alexander Hagner. Washington society figure, and father of her two children. She then married Paul Walters, operator of an automobile rental agency. Walters told the police that his wife flew into a rage after reading a letter from Dave Robb, her private aeroplane pitot. The letter gave details about the proposed sale of her private airport at Nantucket. Mass. Later she asked a maid for her' pistol, saying she wanted to oil it. She took it into her bedroom, and a shot was heard.
