Oarnaru and Timaru on Tucs- ! day, and Lyttelton on Wednesday, thence Wellington," The Wainui arI rives at Gisborne about September I 18. i The Pukeko reached Gisborne at 7.55 a.m. to-day from Portland, Auckland and Tolaga Bay. She was to sail about 1 p.m. for Waikokopu and Napier, thence Portland and Auckland. The Kopara, which left Gisborne last evening for Napier, is to proceed to Auckland to tic up. The Pakura arrived at Lyttelton at 1.15 p.m. yesterday from Gisborne. From Lyttelton the ship proceeds to Wellington to complete loading on Saturday for Napier, Waikokopu, Gisborne and the Coast. The Margaret W., from Gisborne, worked Tolaga Bay this morning and was expected to leave Tokomaru Bay at 3 p.m. to-day for Auckland. The vessel arrives at Auckland to-morrow afternoon and toads there on Monday and Tuesday for Tokomaru Bay, Tolaga Bay and Gisborne. Tiie motor-tanker Paua arrived at Gisborne last night from Wellington and is expected to sail to-night for Wellington. KOZAN MARU’S VOYAGE Russell and Somers, Limited, Auckland, advise that the Yamashita Kisen Kaisha motor-ship Kozan Maru left Kobe on August 30 for New Zealand, via Noumea, Suva and Nukualofa. She is now due at Auckland from Nukualofa on September 28. RUMANIAN-BUILT MINELAYERS The minelayer Amiral Murgescu, built by the Santierele Navale Galati. Galatz, for the Royal Rumanian Navy, lias been launched by King Carol. She is the first of two similar vessels building at the yard, and has the distinction of being the first seagoing man-of-war to be built, in Rumania. The vessel has a length overall of 252 ft. and a breadth of 29ft. Gin., her total displacement being 10GB tons. Her armament consists of two 4in. dual purpose and two l,4(iin. anti-aircraft [guns, 135 mines and two throwers, while her equipment includes paravanes, listening device, ail echo-sounder and long and shortwave wireless. Her propelling machinery will be two Krupp Diesel engines developing 2100 top., giving a maximum speed of 1G knots and an economical s'peed of 12 knots; her radius of action will be 3400 nautical miles.
