WITHDRAWAL ASKED
FORCES IN CHINA BRITISH AND FRENCH (Elec. Tel. Copyright—United Press Assn.) (Reed. SeDt. 8, 9 a.m.) SHANGHAI, Sept. 6. The Japanese Navy has requested the British and French commanders in the International Settlement <- to withdraw their forces from China “to remove the danger of incidents resulting from the European war.” The commanders have referred the requests to London and Paris respectively.
