VISITING TEAM

SUBURBS RUGBY CLUB FIXTURE ON SATURDAY Keen interest is being shown in the visit of the Auckland Suburbs third grade Rugby team to Gisborne to play the Poverty Bay third grade representative team at the Oval on Saturday. This is the only fixture which the local third grade team will play, and is by far the most important match the team has had for several years. Victory to the home team will mean much to the players, and the team is in solid training. The Suburbs players will arrive at Gisborne to-morrow and will take the field as follows: Full-back, C. Thom; three-quarters, G. Hiscock, R. Busfield, N. Oliver; five-eighths, E. Gifford. S. Dewar; half-back. T. Cole: forwards. C. Matthews, J. and P. Simmonds, D. Clews, R. Hoystead, R. Marshall, M. Grey, L. Platt; emergencies, G. Devlin, L. Walters, F. Clemmet, R. Woodward and H. Taylor.
