PATUTAHI AND RAKAUROA
HILL COUNTRY HATCH (Herald Correspondent.) During the week-end members of the Patutahi Golf Club visited Rakauroa, where matches were played against’ the home side. The Patutahi representatives were welcomed on behalf of the Rakauroa club by Mr. F. C. Shaw, and in reply Mr. Renner thanked the ladies’ committee for its hospitality. Results were, Patutahi players’ names being given first: — Men.—Edwards lost to L. McDonald, 2 down; Renner lost to F. W. McLean, 3 down; L. Smith d. J. C. White, 2 up; Dodds d. R. W. Shaw, 2 up ; Aitcheson and F. C. Shaw, all square; L. Smith d. F. D. Beaufoy, 2 up; Cusack d. V. Tail, 2 up: Montieth d. D. Langer, 3 up;' H. Collett d. T. A. Kedpalh,' 2 and* 1; F. Smith d. A. Picken, 3 up; Sirle d. R. C. Beaufoy, 3 and 2; Wickens d. F. Fielder, 3 and 2; Collett lost to B. Tombleson, 2 and 1; Sim lost to H. Tombleson, 3 and 2; Boilond lost to T. Tombleson, 3 and 2; Broadhurst lost to D. Smart, 2 and 1.
