“UP-TO-DATE” MORALS
LONDON, July 25. The Bishop of Chelmsford, speaking in St. Edmund’s Church, South Chingford, Essex, last night, said: “Today we have up-to-date morals, and the number of people in this country whose homes are broken up by these modern morals number thousands. No one can say the home life of to-day has the dignity it had in the old days. “People say the church ,is not up to date. God help us if the church ever becomes up to date."
