(Herald Correspondent.) At a committqe meeting of the Nuhaka Returned Soldiers’ Association, at which. Mr. W. Mitchell presided, a motion of condolence was accorded the relatives of the late Colonel C. R. Spragg. Five members of the Nuhaka branch served under Colonel Spragg on Gallipoli and in Palestine. Mrs. J. Duley, who lias been a patient in the Wairoa Hospital, has returned home. —Mr. and Mrs. Herdegen, who have been spending a holiday with Mr. and Mrs. J. P. Miller, have returned home —Mr. Ralph Mayo, Nepia, has been visiting his uncle, Mr. D. A. Mayo.—Miss N. Boyle is spending a holiday with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. W. Boyle.
