£56,000 BRISBANE FIRE

BRISBANE, Aug 18. Damage estimated at approximately £56,000 was caused by a fire which broke out in the Stanley street premises of the Redbank Meatworks. Though the firemen were able to keep. the fire within the limits of a large room on the first floor, in which it broke out, heavy loss was sustained through the destruction of "0,000 cases of preserved meat.
