£56,000 BRISBANE FIRE
BRISBANE, Aug 18. Damage estimated at approximately £56,000 was caused by a fire which broke out in the Stanley street premises of the Redbank Meatworks. Though the firemen were able to keep. the fire within the limits of a large room on the first floor, in which it broke out, heavy loss was sustained through the destruction of "0,000 cases of preserved meat. The employees were able to escape without injury.
