SHOT IN THE HEAD
Shortly before 4 o'clock on Sunday afternoon, one of a party of young men engaged in target practice (vith pea-rides on the riverbank at Rnupere was shot in the back of the head. The victim of the accident, Kenneth Ralph Crookes, aged 18, Hastings, was immediately taken to the Hastings Memorial Hospital
