BONDS OP FRIENDSHIP RECIPROCAL GREETINGS (Reed. Sept. 5, 3 p.m.) LONDON, Sept. 4. It is officially stated that the British . Ambassador to Turkey . to-day presented. the President of Turkey, General Inonu, with a message from the King in which the King stated: “It gives me deep satisfaction to know that our two countries are united ’by the firm bonds of friendship.” General Inonu, replying, thanked the King for his message and friendship. “In the troubled times through which the world is passing, I feel, for my part; great satisfaction at the bonds of friendship which strongly unite, Turkey and England,” he added.
