RUSSIAN-GERMAN PACT
OPINIONS OF TROTSKY “UNVEILING OF TRUTH” (Recti. Sent. 6, 1 am.) NEW YORK, Sept. 5. The Mexico City correspondent of the United Press of America says that M. Leon Trotsky, when interviewed, stressed that the chaos had produced international ideologies in the world by the German-Russian treaty. “Has not the German worker the right to spit in the faces of his teachers, of yesterday?’' he asked. “Without doubt, the workers will do it. “The only merit of the pact is in the unveiling of the truth. It broke the Comintern's link with all countries, particularly France. From the United States comes the testimony of a sharp crisis in the ranks ot the Comintern, with departures of imperialist patriots on the one hand and internationalists on the other. “The world proletariat will step over the treason of the Kremlin and also the cadaver of the Comintern.”
