Waterside Worker Injured

A waterside worker, Mr. George Moore, of Parker street, met with an accident this morning when assisting to unload cargo from, a vessel in port. He was working in the ship’s hold and a sack of bran, which was being lifted out of the vessel, dropped from the sling and struck him on the side of the head. Mr. Moore fell on to some coal near by and was badly shaken. After receiving attention from a doctor lie was taken to the Cook Hospital by the St. John Ambulance for observation.
