MANY. TN ENGLAND Although all t.he names of Gisborne residents at present visiting overseas countries are not available, it is reported that about 50 are away from the Dominion, and many of these are believed to be in England or in the war zone. The number of people travelling would have been much larger had it not ibeen for the recent restriction* on overseas credits,' and one travel agency estimates that the number would have been nearer the 150 mark Amongst those at present away from the Dominion, apart from Australia, are:— In England.—Flight-Lieutenant Wilfred Collett and Mrs. Collett (nee Miss Doreen Nicol), Flying-Officers Eric Bell, Keith Hamilton and Claude Hansen, Radio Aircraftsman Jack Langridge, Mr. and Mrs. A. C. Langford, Mr. and Mrs. Bruce Muir, Dr. and Mrs. G. R. Stoneham, Mr. Roy L. Lowndes, Mrs. R\ Bruce and Miss Nancy Bruce, Misses D. Bagnall and Hazel Nolan. Mrs. Rich (nee Miss Muriel Mossman), Messrs. Douglas Bowie. F. 11. Lawton, Jack Lawton. Colin and Donald Muir. Aboard ships at sea.—Mrs. C. Berridge and Miss A. R Berridge, Mrs. J. G. Nolan, Messrs. D. F. Muir and William Bowie.
