The Bank of New Zealand advises receipt of the following cabled message from London as at the close of business last week: —“Wethers and Ewes. —Smaller supplies have caused prices to harden. Lambs.! —The market is steady. Quotations.—Wethers, light, 4Jd to sd; heavy, 3.5 d to 4.*,d. Ewes.—2;,'d to 3 5 cl. Lambs, —Twos, 7,id to 7ifd; eights, Gild to GSd: fours, Gd to Old; seconds, Gjjd to GAd.”
