DISPUTE SETTLED

UNIONIST REINSTATED MINERS BACK AT WORK (Per Press Association.) AUCKLAND, this day. A notice flashed on the screen at the Town Hall cinema at Huntly on Saturday night, and later pasted on the notice board in front of the building, announced that all miners concerned in the dispute regarding the dismissal by Glen Afton Collieries, Limited, three weeks ago, of an elderly employee, would resume work to-day. The notice further stated that the union member concerned had been reinstated. Tire secretary of the Northern Miners’ Union, Mr. T. Hall, refused to make any comment. The manager of Glen Afton Collieries, Mr. C. M. Richwhite, would not comment on the announcement of a resumption of work.
