WIN IN DOUBLES
QUIST AND BROMWICH STRUGGLE OVER FOUR SETS AMERICANS FORMIDABLE (Klee. Tel. Copyright—United Press Assn.) (Reed. Sent. 4, 11 a.m.) NEW YORK, Sept. 3. In the Davis Cup doubles, Quist and Bromwich defeated Hunt and Kramer, 5—7, G—2, 7—5, G—2. There was little to choose between the teams, although their styles were considerably different. Hunt and Kramer have a cannonball service, and are formidable smashers from mid-court. The Australians are infinitely the better volleyers.
