Jumble Sale at Parish Hall.

‘Although business at-first was not as brisk as had been hoped for, the jumble sale held in the Parish Hall on Friday in aid of funds for the Heni Materoa Children’s Horne, proved most successful. A Punch and Judy show was the centre of much interest and the stalls carried a large variety of goods. The effort was organised by a special ladies' committee and the stall-holders were—Jumble, Mesdamcs T. Terry, H. G. Wcllborne, M. McDonald, E. Pufictt and S. F. Clare, and Miss M. Foster; afternoon-tea, Mesdamcs L. Balfour, H. Gilmer, Garland, A. F. Hall and W. Oalcden: calces, Mesdamcs N. IT. Bull, J. O Musgravc, and C. Wells; produce, Mesdamcs E. Brown, G. Wiilock and Loffler; sweets. Mesdamcs J. de V. W. Blathwayt and H. L. Primrose; flowers, Mesdamcs R. P. Baigent, C. IT. Bull and Armstrong.
