Group of Sunspots

A large group of sunspots is now visible on the solar disc, according to Mr. G. V. Hudson, Karori, Wellington. The leading spot is about 88,000 miles long and 50,000 miles broad. The total length of the group is about 180,000 miles. The group can be seen with the naked eye through smoked glass.
