The chief postmaster at Gisborne, Mr A. M. Robertson, advises that te’egraphie messages for overseas will be accepted only at owners’ risk, and subject to certain conditions. These conditions debar the use of any code words in address or message, and require the sender’s name at the end of the text. Telegrams accepted for transmission may 'be stopped, delayed or otherwise dealt with at the discretion o f the censorship authorities, and no claims whether for reimbursement of transmission fee or otherwise will be entertained by the authorities.
