The Minister of Industries and Commerce. (he Hon. D. G. Sullivan, announced that he had received the report of the Price Investigation Tribunal concerning the price charged for beer. The ‘Minister stated (hat ho had the assurance of the tribunal that the decision, which was accepted by the parties, meant that a portion of the recent increase in taxation would be borne by the brewers and licensed victuallers, and provided for a standardisation of measures and prices in tire four main metropolitan areas.
