OUT OF SEASON

A well-known New Plymouth golfer who is also a keen trout fisherman, had an “out-of-season’ wade in the river when on his round of the Sentry Hill golf links. He went down to the river to retrieve a lost ball and while he was attempting the .task the bank gave way and he and a good piece of the bank slipped into the river.
