N.Z. MARKETING METHODS OPINION OP MR. NASH (Per Press Association.) AUCKLAND, this day. “New Zealand’s marketing methods are the most efficient in operation in the United Kingdom and all other suppliers are trying to imitate us,” said the Minister of Marketing, the Hon. W. Nash, on his return today. He considered that the marketing of New Zealand meat and dairy iproduc(,e in Britain was equally, efficient, enabling New Zealand to maintain its lead. The challenge, .however, was very keen and Australia v/as gradually approaching coordination along the lines practised by New Zealand. Mr. Nash said that Mr. Duncan, Director of .the Primary Products Marketing Department was now travelling extensively in Britain, visiting various parts of distribution, ascertaining if further improvements were possible.

While the British market had reached saturation point for some classes of meat, and New Zealand mutton and lamb were being restricted, Mr. Nash considered it was within the capacity of Britain to continue taking all New Zealand could sell.

Referring to dairy produce, he said: “There appears to be an ample market."
