SETTLERS’ PRESENTATION

A gathering of all users of telephones and the Post Office of Rakauroa gathered at the Rakauroa Women’s Institute Hall recently to farewell- Miss Dorothy Richardson, who is leaving the district on a lengthy holiday. During the afternoon games and: competitions were played, and afternoon tea provided. A bouquet was presented .to Miss Richardson by little Miss Smith. ■Mrs. W. Shaw presented <& Now Zealand rug to Miss Richardson 'from the Rakauroa residents.
