FAREWELLED BY GOLFERS
EAST COAST RESIDENTS
DEPARTING FOR KENYA

Members of the Tokomaru Bay Golf Club gathered at the clubhouse at the week-end to bid farewell to Mr. and Mrs. Pat Murphy, who leave shortly for Kenya Colony.
A foursome of qualified and unqualified players was played by the ladies, Mrs. Nevin and Miss Nevin proving the winners.
After a very enjoyable afternoon tea, the president, Mr. J. Todd, wished Mr. and Mrs. Murphy every success, and said that the club was very sorry to be losing two such good members. Mr. Murphy one of the oldest members and Mrs. Murphy always had been a willing worker for the club. As a member he asked Mrs. Murphy to accept a cheque. Mr. Murphy suitably replied.
