WESTFIELD SALE (Per Pr«'«s Association.) AUCKLAND, this day. Another full entry of ox and cow beef sold unchanged at last week's rates at the Wes'field fat stock sale yesterday. Extra choice ox beef made 42s per 1001 b., choice and prime 39. s to 41s; choice and prime cow and heifer beef made 37s to 395, and boner and rough 30s to 335. Extra heavy prime steers made from £l7 to £lB 10s, heavy £l4 10s to £l6 17s Gd, medium £l3 to £ls ss, light £ll 10s to £l3 15s, and unfinished and rough £6 2s Gd to £l2 ss; extra heavy prime cows and heifers £l2 to £l6 2s Gd. heavy £lO 10s to £l2 15s, medium £8 to £lO 7s Gd, light £7 10s to £9 15s, and boner and rough £4 10s to £7.

An average entry of calves had a keen sale, prime sorts tending to improve on last week’s high prices. Runners made from £7 to £lO 12s Gd, heavy vealers £6 3s to £lO, medium £5 2s to £6 ss, light £4 to £5 ss, smaller £2 8s to £4. small 18s to £3, and bcioby and rough 8s to 355.

Pork again eased. Bacon remained firm for an average yarding of pigs. Choppers made from £2 17s to £4 15s; heavy baconers £4 to £4 12s, medium £3 14s to £3 19s, and light £3 6s to £3 12s; heavy porkers £2 16s to £3, medium £2 8s to £2 13s. light £1 12s to £2 ss: stores 30s to 40s, slips 24s to 295. and weaners 14s to 245. Baconers averaged GJd to per lb., and porkers 7d to 7id per lb. An average mutton entry tended to improve in price. Extra prime heavy prime wethers made from 39s to 435. heavy 36s to 37s 6d, medium 32s to 35s 6d, light 26s to 30s, and unfinished 17s Gd to 24s Gd; extra heavy prime ewes 30s to 53s 9d, heavy 26s to 28s 6d. medium 21s Gd to 24s 6d, light 18s Gd to 235, and unfinished 5s to 17s Gd. Prime lambs sold at late rates, from 16s to 33s Gd, and others from 10s to 14s Gd.
