PARKER CHALLENGE CUP WIN FOR KOPUAWHARA (Herald Correspondent.) Kopuawhara table tennis players successfully withstood their third challenge for the Parker Challenge Cup when they defeated a team from Paritu by 13 games to 11 after a keen and interesting struggle. Results were as follows, Kopuawhara players toeing mentioned first in each case:

First Round.—Kelly beat R. Smith, 31-25; .Hornig lost 'to Ohesley, 15-31: Bin-rows lost to Mitchell, 23-31; Nugent beat Hodges, 31-15; Fisk lost to Christophersen, 23-31; Te Ngaio beat McPherson, 31-20.

Second Round.—Kelly beat Chcsley, 31-23; Hornig lost to Mitchell, 23-31; Burrows 'beat Hodges, 31-23; Nugent beat Christopherson, 31-17; Fisk beat McPherson, 31-17; Te Ngaio lost to Smith, 21-31.

Third Round. —Kelly beat Mitchell, 31-29; Hornig lost 'to Hodges, 22-31; Burrows beat Christopherson, 31-20: Nugent - beat McPherson, 31-21; Fisk lost to .Smith, 11-31; Te Ngaio beat Chesley, 34-32. Fourth Round. —Kelly beat Hodges, 31-13; Hornig lost to Christopherson, 23-31; Burrows beat McPherson, 31-10; Nugent lost to Smith, 18-31; Fisk lost to C-hesley, 14-31; Te Ngaio lost to Mitchell, 11-31.

In ‘the clulb games Mrs. Morsfold (18 on) beat IMiss iNolan (8 on) in the ladies’ final, 34-24. In the men's final A. Bailey (8 on) beat E. Cater (15 behind), 31-24.
