SNOOKER AND BILLIARDS (Herald Correspondent.) In the first game in the Clark Memorial Cup snooker and billiards tournament, Paritu defeated Kopuavvhara by 10 points to six. Results were as follows, Paritu names being mentioned first: — Billiards. —D. Lawton 150 v. A. Judd, 114; B. White 123' v. R. Munro, 150: P. Benny, 150, v. C. Tamm, 140; J. Blair, 150, v. A. Fisk, 140. Snooker.—J. Dolan, 06 and 8, v. A. Brodie, 74 and 45; Perjanik, 62 and 50, v, P. Te Ngaio, 50 and 46; W. O’Hara, 42 and 48, v. P. Lattery, 40 and 18; R. Range, 30 and 40, v. J. Nugent, 42 and 41. Summary.—Billiard, Paritu three games, Kopuawhara, one; snooker, four games each. The result depended on the game between A. Fisk and J. Blair, and a keenly contested game was won by Blair,
