Radiologist Post
The Cook Hospital Board yesterday afternoon, received a notification from .the 'Director-General of Health in respect of the proposal to appoint a qualified radiologist to the ’Staff of the hospital. Dr. M. H. Watt stated that the assurances given by Wairoa, Waiapu and Opotiki boards were sufficient for the board, to proceed with, the appointment. The letter was received 1 iwith satisfaction, and the chairman, Mr. 'M. T. Trafford, was authorised to arrange for the insertion of 'advertisements for the post, with the co-operation of the medical superintendent, Dr. R. J. B. Hall, and the .managing-secretary, Mr. C. A. Harries.
