NOT ACCEPTING BUSINESS
Until their position under the Reserve Bank’s; allocation of overseas sterling fund's is defined, some Auckland importing houses have practically suspended further operations. “We have not closed down,” said the Auckland! manager of a branch of a large overseas concern with branches throughout the Dominion, in explaining Jhe attitude that has been adopted. “In common with some other firms, we have simply announced that we are not accepting further business in the meantime.”
