McCREADY AND PINDER

EACH TAKES A FALL

(Per Press Association.) AUCKLAND, this day

Earl McCready, Canada, heavyweight wrestling champion c( the British Empire, successfully defended his title on Saturday evening, when he drbw with his challenger, Prince Bhu Pinder, India, each man chaining a fall.

Pinder won the first fall in the fifth round. The agile Indian sidestepped and, quick as a flash, grasped the champion's legs and applied his favourite hold, the Indian crab. McCready submitting.

Following a series of elbow jolts in the seventh round, McCready twice slammed his Opponent, then forcing Pindcr's shoulders to the mat with a body press.
