P.B. BOARD MEETS

SHORT BUSTNESS PAPER

CURRENT SALES INCREASE

The business paper submitted to the Poverty ©ay Electric-Power Board at its monthly meeting yesterday was shorter than usual, and a majority of the items' were dealt with in. committee. The provision of supplies of ranges for future requirements was. the subject of a recommendation.

Those presenit at the meeting were Messrs. F. R. Bail, chairman, 11. TI. Do Costa, Chas. Matthews, A. A. Fraser, C. W. Izod, J. E. Benson, J. H. I-Taffl, T. Corson, M. T. TrafTord, and Chas. Mills, with the managing secretary, Mr. R. P. Baigent. and the engineer, Mr. F. Matthewson, also in attendance. The finance committee recommended the board to adopt the proposal of the managing-secretary in regard to the ordering of supplies of ranges, :o a total number of 75, at a cost of £1862, delivery 'to be made in 1940. The recommendation was adopted, Mr. .1. H. Hall commenting that if the board' could secure its supplies in 1940, it would be over the production crisis.
