FILM BOARD FORMED

CONTROL IN DOMINION

PERSONNEL ANNOUNCED

(Parliamentary Reporter.) WELLINGTON, this day.

The advisory committee _ which formerly functioned in connection with thq cinematograph film industry is now being replaced by a statutory film board of internal control, which has just 'been constituted. Its principal duty will be to arbitrate and adjust differences existing in the industry, thuis facilitating its smooth working. It. is also expected that it will undertake the advisory duties of the former committee if called upon by the Government for its opinions.

The new iboard comprises Messrs. W. F. Stilwell, S.M., chairman. R. M. Stewart, S. H. Craig, W. W. DufE and W. A. Hislop, representing the film renters, J. Robertson, M.P., H. Thompson J. H. Mason, M. J. Moodabe, representing the motion picture exhibitors, R. G. Butcher, Internal Adairs Department, and another member to be appointed from the Industries and Commerce Department. The secretary is Mr. W. J. Fife, Internal Adairs Department.
