Destruction of Trees
In a letter to the editor of the Herald, Mrs. Douglas Blair expresses regret at the destruction of old trees In the district, referring particularly to the cutting down of those at the Park racecourse. She commended the plans for beautification work and the planting of further trees, tout asked why the existing beauty should be destroyed.
