OIL SURVEY WORK DOMINION EX PLOP AT ION (Per Press Association.) AUCKLAND, this clay. Appointed to the stall of geologists associated with the New Zealand Oil Exploration Company, Mr. J. B. Han-son-Lowe, London, arrived by the Rangitane. Mr. Hanson-Lowe expects to do much work in connection with the geological survey, but is not aware where he will be stationed or how long his appointment will last, nor could he discuss the prospects of oil production in New Zealand. In recent years Mr. Hansou-Lowe has accomplished much in China and Eastern Tibet, collecting geographical data, ancl he has written on his work in technical journals.
