Routine business was transacted at the annual meeting of the New Zealand 'branch of the Empire Parliamentary Association yesterday, the following officers -being elected:— Presidents, the Speaker of the Legislative Council, the Hon. Mark Fagan, the Speaker of the House of Representatives, the Hon. W. E. Barnard; vice-presidents, the Prime Minister, the Rt. Hon. M. J. Savage, the Leader of the Opposition, the Hon. Adam Hamilton, the Leader of the Legislative Council, the Hon. D. Wilson, the Rt. Hon. G. W. Forbes, the Rt. Hon. J. G. Coates, and Sir James Allen; honorary treasurer, Sir Heaton Rhodes; honorary auditors, Mr. W. J. Lyon and the Hon. W. Perry; honorary secretary, the Clerk of Parliaments, Mr. C. M. Bothamley; executive committee, the Minister of Finance, the Hon. W. Nash, the Minister of Education, the Hon. P. Frgser, the chairman of committees, Mr. R. McKeen, Sir Alfred Ransom, Mr. C. A. Wilkinson, Mr. S. G. Holland, the Hons. J. Cotter, J. A. Hanan, W. H. Mclntyre, and B. Maxdin.
