EARL McCREADY WINS
DEFEAT OF MARTINEZ (Per Press Association.) CHRISTCHURCH, this day. Earl McCready last night beat Ignacio Martinez by one fall in one of the cleverest and best wrestling bouts of the Christchurch season so far. McCready’s fall was taken after dumps' 1 in the seventh round. When, the bout was over Martinez kept on fighting and a police inspector stepped into the ring and stopped the contest.
