HENI MATEROA HOME

MEETING OF GUILD The monthly meeting of the Cook County Women’s Guild was held at the Heni iMateroa Children’s Home yesterday afternoon, -Mrs. W. G. Wellborne being in the chair, and there also being -present -Mesdames I. J. Quigley, J. Williams, W. M. Jenkins. A. Sealey, T. H. Garrett, 11. W. T. Buckley and H. Gilmer. Apologies for absence were received -from Mesdames W. Neal, W. J. Fergie, 'Wise and H. Holmes. -A vote of sympathy was passed with Mrs. H. A. Angell in the loss cf her mother.

Accounts totalling £sl 18s 7d were -passed for -payment. The matron reported that there were 21 children in the home and all were well. Mrs. T. Holden was elected a member of the guild.
