The former Secretary of State for War, Mr. Alfred Duff Cooper, has rejoined the Grenadier Guards as a subaltern. lie is the third' former Secretary .or War again to become a soldier on the active list, the others being Major-General Lord Mottistone and Mr. Winston Churchill, both cf whom ?crved in the .Great War.
