MARIST WIN AGAIN
KEEN JUNIOR FIXTURE
H. 5.0.8. DEFENCE FAILS
Marist 15pls. H. 5.0.8 8 Marist won again in the junior grade fixture, which took pride of place on the grandstand ground early on Saturday afternoon'. They lost their grip for a while, after getting an early lead, but came on again in (he second half, converting a,half-time score of G—B to a final result of 15 —8 in their favour. The H. 5.0.8. defence failed signally when tested by the fast forward work of the Marist pack. Clearances by the full-back were especially faulty at times. The winners gave a good balanced display, their forwards and backs sharing in the credit of the win.
Mr. H. Hunter was the referee.
