Ledwedge Vincent Lawlor, who was ordered to be deported after an incident in which it was alleged he fired a revolver near the Duchess of Kent in Beigrave Square on June 4, sailed for Australia On July 20 in the Esperance Bay. Lawler's passage was paid by “an important person," whose identity has been withheld. His benefactor gave him £5 to spend on the voyage. Tie will disembark at Melbourne.
