REOORD HASTINGS BATCH

FINES TOTAL OVER £IOO (Por Pro is Association.) HASTINGS, this day. Believed to be a record for Hastings, 138 charges were preferred against motorists, who appeared before Mr. J. Miller, S.M., in the .Magistrate’s Court yesterday. This was the outcome of the recent raid by the borough traffic autnorities. The charges included driving without licenses, failure to renew licenses, driving vehicles not equipped with warrants of fitness. The lines and costs totalled over £IOO.
