CLUB CHAMPIONSHIPS JONES WINS ROSEBOWD (Herald Correspondent.) Following' are the results of the club championships which were played: last week-end on the Wairoa Golf Club's links:— Senior. —Smith beat Craig; Irwin beat Jones; Moat beat Heslop; Crawford beat Grieve, Junior. Brown beat Martin; Hinckesman boat Crarer; McQueen beat W. Sainslbury; Battl.d, sen., beat Trewby. Pearoa Cup.--Morrison beat J. Heslop; McCrea beat Pinel; Withers beat Watson, sen. Ormond Rosehowl The final of the Ormond Rosebowl competition was piayed last weekend, and although the weather conditions were unfavourable, the match proved a close and' interesting one, the winner being F. H. Jones, who beat R. C. Goldstone 2 up. Moore Tikis
The holders 1 of the Moore Tikis, Scott and Prebble, again proved too good for this week’s challengers, Smith and Millar. Next week-end the- ladies’ tournament is to be held' and the male members are , requested' to refrain from playing on the links.
