CHAMPIONSHIP SERIES LADIES AND MEN (Herald Correspondent.) The following is the draw for the second round of the Tokomaru Bay Golf Club’s President's Trophy and qualifying rbund of the championship:—Gardner and F. E. Porter; Horton and F. R. Porter; Fairlie and Orr; Short and Todd: Eddy and J. Paerata; Stafford and K. Paerata; Riddell and Murphy; Felton and Griffiths; Sutherland and Forrester; K. Oates and Jackson. The A grade (singles, champipnship for the lady members of the Tokomaru Bay Golf Club was completed -this week. Miss Elsie Hale defeating Miss D. Conole, G and 5. In the third round of the B grade championship Mrs. Horton defeated Mrs. Glen, 5 and 3. In the semifinals Miss Mills defeated Mrs. Riddell, 3 and 1; and Mrs. Short beat Mrs. Horton, 7 and G. Miss Mills meets Mrs. Short in the final. This week’s match will he a flag match, the draw being as follows: — Miss Busby plays Miss Mitchell; Miss Conole plays Mrs. Murphy: Miss Pepper plays Mrs. Forrester; Mrs. Nevin plays Mrs. Glen; Miss Mills plays Mrs. Short; Mrs. Horton plays Mrs. Riddell; Mrs. Chaplin plays Miss Eivers; Mrs. Boon plays MLss Hale. Players will find their cards marked in the club house.
