At meetings held in. East Slovakian towns demands were made for the return of the territories ceded to Hungary and Poland and also of towns occupied by Hungary. The Minister of Propaganda, M. Mach, declared the readiness of the Slovaks to fight for their brethren across the frontier. The Deputy Premier, M. Tuka, attacked the Czechs for what he described as their 20 years of exploitation. H e declared that the Slovaks would never rejoin them and further anti-Jewish legislation would be enacted, he said. Anti-Jewish excesses continued over the week-end. Windows were smashed and houses were gutted and furniture was thrown in the streets. A public kitchen was demolished before order was restored.
