Lake Tekapo Hydro-Electric Scheme
Financial authority to enable the Lake Tckapo hydro-electric development to proceed will be made by the Cabinet within the next week, the Hon. U. Semple, Minister for Public Works, said in an interview in Christchurch. The job has got to go on, declared Mr. Semple. “The position as far as power demand is concerned. and future requirements, make tin; development of Tekapo instable.”
