"I believe we are stronger than Germany or any other Continental tyranny,” said the Minister of Education, Earl de la Warr, at a school prize-giving ceremony.
“Where there is tyranny you have government from the top downward,"
he said. “You have merely to knock off liie top and tyranny is ended. “In a democracy, you have still the rest to contend with. We have immense resources of incalculable value which the Continental tyrannies can never have.”
