KINGSTON, July 4

As an aid in helping the Jamaica unemployment situation, the Government has decided that after June 1 1940, no more alien Chinese will be allowed to enter Jamaica. At present alien Chinese resident in Jamaica are allowed to bring in their wivc-s. fiancees and children under 10 years. The number of workers on the Government relief scheme, reclaiming swamps near Kingston, continues to increase. The total working yesterday was 140.
